Important Information

about the 300-Hour Reflexology Program

ADMISSION 

The first step towards your reflexology career is the application process to the School of Therapeutic Reflexology. Learn about the requirements and application process below. Class sizes are limited to 8 students enhance the learning process.  

 

Requirements to attend:

·       High School diploma or G.E.D

·       At least 18 years of age

Prerequisites

·       Complete application for admission

·       Submit high school, GED or college transcripts

·       Receive and read current school catalog

·       Complete Enrollment Agreement and submit a $100 non-refundable fee (maybe applied towards deposit)

·       All reading material, homework and exams will be in English

 

Grading System and Attendance

Students will be monitored and assessed during class by the instructor while students work on each other or on a volunteer model. All students must complete the course in its entirety. The minimum standards for passing are 80% hands-on practicum and 70% on all quizzes, tests and the final written exam. Students must attend 90% of all in-person classroom hours.

Entrance/Admission Requirements

Students will be required to complete an enrollment application. The applicate must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalency (GED). Once the application is approved, the student will complete an enrollment form with a $100 non-refundable deposit.

 

Educational Credential

Upon competition of the 300-hour reflexology course a certificate of completion be issued to all students who meet the minimum requirements and pass the final exam. This allows the graduate to apply to take the Washington State reflexology written exam administered by the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB). Once the graduate has passed the ARCB written exam, they will be allowed to apply to the Department of Health for professional credentialling. 

 

All students who complete a continuing education (CE) workshop will be issued a certificate of competition. The CE classes are not part of the 300-Hour reflexology program and do not meet the requirements to take the ARCB exam nor does it allow for credentialing by the Department of Health.

 

Financial Aid Assistance

This program is not eligible to offer financial aid. However, payment plans may be offered. Please contact Teri Hoskins for additional information on payment arrangements.

 

Job Placement

Job placement is not guaranteed. If available, the student will be provided a list of potential job offerings from employers such as chiropractic offices, massage venues, and wellness clinics. There is currently a strong need for bodyworkers. Many employers are looking to hire those with bodywork skills.
